-Wordpress This is one of my favorite blog sites. It’s easy, free and has a simple but polished look.  As a matter of fact, you will notice that this particular article was posted using this popular weblog.

-Zooloo This blog site gets high marks for its template graphics while still allowing easy user navigation. Additionally,  you have the opportunity to create a website if you choose.

-Blogspot I have used this site as a personal blog for the past four years and recently for my Atlanta writing services company. One feature that I really like about Blogpsot is the URL friendly link and the fact that they are a well-established free blog community.

-Livejournal Again, easy account set-up and great features for the novice blogger.

-Blogdrive I really like this site for how simple it is to login. I haven’t tried uploading video or graphics yet, but have plans to test drive that feature sometime next week.

As for sites to avoid when blogging specifically about your business, you will want to avoid new kid on the blog, Thoughts.com. After embedding a link back to my own business site, my account and newly formed thoughts were deleted from theirs and the internet.

Also, and this is a BIGGIE.  Be sure to write your blog in Word or pages format and copy and paste the text into your new post section.  This will allow you to edit and most importantly, keep from losing your work as blog sites sometimes will time out and there may be a chance that all your hard work and effort is lost.

“February could be the direct result of cabin fever with consumers eager to get some fresh air and enjoy a day of shopping. “We expect sales increases to continue but high unemployment and other economic factors will restrain consumers’ ability to splurge on discretionary items,” says Rosalind Wells, Chief Economist for the NRF. This news could prove promising for the fulfillment industry and companies such as Georgia order fulfillment company, SBC Fulfillment.

While there is optimism surrounding this recent data, other factors still continue to create a commingle on the economy taking a turn for the better. Georgia order fulfillment companies see promise in these indicators. These indicators include:

- A drop in the U.S. trade deficit for January 2010 down 6.6 percent to $37.29 billion, with exports dropping to 0.3 percent to $142.7 billion and imports decreasing 1.7 percent to $179.9 billion

-According to the Department of Commerce, January durable goods went up 3 percent to $175.7 billion

-the Institute of Supply Management’s manufacturing index at 56.1 in February indicating a growth

The Georgia order fulfillment industry also got a boost. Metrics include: a 3.4 percent increase in Case Freight Index shipments from January to February. Indicators also include a steady growth in rail carload and intermodal volumes in past weeks. Additionally, For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index went up 3.1 percent over the month of January, the highest since September of 2008.  Retail container cargo ports reported volume growth following 28 straight months of decreasing numbers.
